Mega Morphs are a level of power Slugs can reach at 200mph, first seen in"Upgrade" .

Mega morphing is when a slug hits 200mph, boosting their powers. The first known morph happened to Burpy, Eli's Infurnus, evolving his power and changing his appearance slightly. This happened when Eli Shane shot Burpy while using mecha upgrades that enabled travel at 100mph, causing theblaster to shoot out a slug that had already reached velocity, causing the speeds to stack up.

Slugs that mega morph stay in their mega morph form even when shot at normal speeds. The power of the mega-morphs seem to exceed that of Fusion Shots. Red Hook has created a blaster modification (Accelerators ) that allows blasters to shoot Mega-morphs without the need of a mecha to take the shooter to 100 MPH.

It has been shown that certain slugs can not mega morph yet if their not experienced enough , for example Stuntz who has not been slung as much as Eli's favorite slugs was not used to the speed and thrown off.

Trivia

• As explained by Kord, hitting 200mph will change the Slugs velocimorph.
• A Mega Morph might be more powerful then a Fusion Shot.
• Only the most experienced slugs can mega morph
